Robotics

Making a robot consists of 2 steps. Designing and constructing the robot for various applications. Once a robot is built it needs to be programmed to carry out specific tasks. Some examples include, robot factory equipment and drones.


Characteristics

A robot is a machine that can be programmed to carry out a range of tasks autonomously. They have a mechanical framework which gives them a body that can interact with their surroundings. Electronic components including sensors work to receive information from their surroundings.


Roles

Robots can work in many different areas including, industry, transports, agriculture and medicine.
